What Feels Like Love?
Feb 06, 2022What feels like love?
This is one of my favorite questions to share with clients and to use myself.
It’s a simple question that can nudge us toward making the choice that feels more loving to us.
When you’re working on a big deadline, maybe what feels like love is taking a break to walk outside.
After a tough week, maybe what feels like love is a Saturday afternoon nap.
After a lot of constant caregiving (hello, pandemic?), maybe what feels like love is time alone.
When my energy feels low, what feels like love can be a nourishing meal that will fuel me instead of the bag of chips that’s so easy to grab.
It’s a simple question that can get me to pause and take a breath and lean towards the more self-compassionate, caring choice.
As we head into the season of celebrating love, I invite you to use this question to give yourself just a little more of the love we so freely share with others.
And if you want to share how you answered this question, I’d love to hear from you!
